Newsletter #145: Who’s Victoria’s most adventurous senior?

Hello Reader,

Are you an ABC radio listener? This Sunday, two of our wonderful contributors, Kathy and Ordette, will be guests on ABC Radio Melbourne’s Sunday Mornings with Lisa Leong. The program has just launched a month-long search for Victoria’s Most Adventurous Senior, and the pair will be chatting about their own outings around Melbourne and Victoria, the same adventures they discover for you, our Seniors in Melbourne community.

They’re both natural storytellers, so we think they’ll make great company on a Sunday morning. Tune in around 10:40am on 774 AM or through the ABC listen app.

And are you Victoria’s most adventurous senior? Listen in for your chance to win some great prizes via ABC radio.

Remember, adventure doesn’t have to mean climbing a mountain. Sometimes it’s a new tram route, a laneway you’ve never wandered down or a day trip you’ve been meaning to take for years. Whatever it looks like for you, we’re here to celebrate it.

Warmly,
Amy

Wow! I had the best day at The District Docklands. My tip — plan to spend the whole day there. The area is spacious, inviting, not noisy or crowded, and very easy to navigate.
