Ghost Tour GIVEAWAY and a Phone Number Worth Saving

Hi Reader,

We recently uncovered a fantastic resource that’s truly a game-changer for anyone navigating Melbourne with mobility needs. Travellers Aid, a service dedicated to helping Melbourne visitors, offers everything from motorised wheelchair hire to accessible transport options—services that make the city more accessible for everyone. After sharing our latest blog post about Travellers Aid, a reader reached out to let us know about her friend’s experience:

“My friend used the motorised wheelchair hire service through Travellers Aid and was beyond impressed. It allowed her to enjoy a day out in the CBD even though she has limited mobility. The motorised vehicle was so easy to drive, the hire period was up to 7 am - 7 pm, and she was able to book over the phone. Thanks, Amy, for your comprehensive information about this service.”

If you or someone you know might benefit from their services, save Travellers Aid’s contact information on your phone. It’s a simple way to ensure your next trip to the CBD is more accessible and stress-free. They're even piloting a service at Melbourne Airport.

Travellers Aid is also looking for volunteers to join their team in Melbourne, Ballarat, and Seymour. If you’re interested, you could make a real difference helping seniors and individuals with disabilities enjoy their time in the city. Roles include companion services, admin support, and event assistance, with flexible hours, training provided, and travel costs covered. Find more information here.

All the best,
Amy

Supporting Hospitality Students

If you’re up for a morning coffee with a touch of history, followed by an unforgettable lunch experience, look no further

I did not know you could have lunch, with beautiful table service, a wonderful meal, amazing low prices, cooked by the students attending William Angliss. Also, the attendance at the table was a wonderful experience, being waited on by the students.
I had salmon, perfectly cooked with a cheeky glass of wine. Followed by lemon cake dessert with a cup of tea. The presentation on the plates was fine dining style. Just beautiful. A very lovely, comfortable atmosphere.
