Christmas Market GIVEAWAY & Rediscover Childhood Fun

Hi Reader,

Chris here. When I was a kid, treasure hunts were a thing. My mum would hand out cryptic clues leading my siblings and me to “the treasure” – usually a lolly (if we got there before the ants!). Those simple joys came flooding back during a recent Mystery Picnic adventure.

But instead of our backyard, we wandered the lanes of Melbourne’s CBD. Each mobile-delivered clue led us to gourmet food outlets or introduced us to unique features of the city streetscape. The final stop? A shady spot in the Treasury Gardens, where we unpacked our gourmet picnic on the lush lawns.

It was a magical way to explore Melbourne – part treasure hunt, part feast, and entirely memorable. If it’s been a while since you strolled the city’s streets, this could be the perfect way to reconnect with the pulse of our State’s Capital.

Ready to rekindle some childhood fun and uncover Melbourne’s hidden gems?

All the best,
Chris

WIN Good Food & Wine Show Tickets

Step into a festive wonderland with 4 x tickets up for grabs for the spectacular Christmas Market happening this weekend

I loved being taken a bit out of the usual main city streets to places I hadn’t been to before, discovering interesting shops, cafes, and lanes.
There was quite a lot of walking, but trams were available to hop on and off if needed. I personally had to have a break about 1.5 hours in. So we found a bench and had a drink and something absolutely delicious from one of the pick-up spots. I don’t want to spoil the surprise so I am not mentioning any of the delicious food!
