NGV GIVEAWAY & Help us reach more readers

Hi Reader,

Did anyone see our story in The Senior online? It's going to be in the print edition next month, so keep an eye out for that. We're excited to feel some momentum building.

When I started Seniors in Melbourne, my parents were my biggest inspiration. Exploring this city with them sparked something special, and what began as a way to spend time together has grown into a small business that celebrates Melbourne through their eyes—and yours.

Today, I took a moment to map out our 2025 plans, and I’m dreaming big. I’d love for us to reach 20,000 subscribers by January 2025. It’s a bit ambitious, I know, but I believe in what we’re building together. If you’ve ever found value in this newsletter, here’s how you can help:

Forward this email to friends or family who might enjoy it, and encourage them to subscribe here.

Your support means the world to me—and it helps others discover the best of Melbourne, too.

Thanks so much,
Amy

P.S. What’s one big goal you’re working towards? Hit reply and tell me—I’d love to cheer you on!

The 300-metre ascent in the lift was quick and the 360-degree view of Melbourne from the Skydeck was absolutely wonderful. We spent a lot of time going around, just looking through the glass and from one open-air section, breathing in the view, pinpointing landmarks nearby and kilometres away on the horizon.
That was fantastic but the real challenge was now to, literally, live life on The Edge. Read more here.

Hello Reader, One year ago today, I sent out my very first newsletter for Seniors in Melbourne. Back then, there were just 25 subscribers (mostly friends and family!). Now, there are thousands of you who open these emails each week, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. What started as a way to encourage my parents, Chris and Terrie, to rediscover Melbourne has grown into something even more special. Not only has this community expanded, but so has my team of contributors—all retired (or...

It’s a thought-provoking listen created especially for those navigating aging or even just contemplating what lies ahead. Each episode dives into important topics like health, creativity, and social issues, often with insights from influential guests like Lex Marinos and Perry. What I love most is how it encourages us to embrace this stage of life with confidence and purpose. It’s...
