Hi Reader, When I partnered with Travellers Aid to promote their range of services, I hoped it might help someone. Little did I know it would have such a life-changing impact on Ingrid, a vibrant woman with some mobility challenges. After reading my article, Ingrid decided to try Travellers Aid’s mobility scooter hire service at Flinders Street Station. For just $40 (from 7 am – 7 pm), she was able to explore Melbourne with ease, even making it all the way to the Queen Victoria Market! The experience inspired her so much that she purchased her own mobility scooter online (through Bunnings for just $1,000!), and now she’s out and about enjoying her independence every day. Ingrid’s story is a wonderful reminder of the power of information and the difference it can make in people’s lives. It’s also a testament to the incredible work Travellers Aid is doing to help people get in and out of the city. If you know someone who might benefit from services like these, feel free to share my article, or get in touch with Travellers Aid directly. Warmly,

Not only has this community expanded, but so has my team of contributors—all retired (or...

Each episode dives into important topics like health, creativity, and social issues, often with insights from influential guests like Lex Marinos and Perry. What I love most is how it encourages us to embrace this stage of life with confidence and purpose. It’s...
