Free Tickets & Fun Outings—A Big Thank You!

Hello Reader,

I feel so lucky that we’ve been able to share so many fantastic ticket giveaways and exclusive deals with you lately! From Comedy Festival shows to last week’s incredibly generous offer of over 10 double passes to the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, it’s been wonderful to help fill seats, support local acts, and give our subscribers the chance to enjoy a free or cheap night out.

As Margaret wrote after attending the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra:

“Loved the concert, Amy. Gorgeous Bach music, friendly folks around me. The Brandenburg conductor Paul Dyer was superb. He also played the harpsichord which I especially enjoy.”

And from Vicky & Tim:

“It was just so good! A total joy from start to finish… with Paul Dyer’s incredibly watchable, animated conducting from the harpsichord.”

A huge thank you to all of our partners for making this possible! If you’ve attended a show, we’d love to hear your thoughts—your feedback not only supports these businesses but also helps inspire others to get out and explore the city.

And if you missed out on the Brandenburg Orchestra tickets, don’t worry—they’re heading out on a regional tour next month, with tickets just $20. Well worth checking out! Read about the regional tour here.

Enjoy,
Amy

P.S. Fancy a night of love, laughter, and a little mischief? We’ve got an exclusive offer for $30 tickets to Tonight!—a hilarious romantic comedy featuring an Italian clown on a quest for affection. Catch it at The Butterfly Club from 14–20 April at 5:30 PM. Use code "seniorclown" at checkout for the special rate! Book here.

ANZAC Day in Melbourne

Plan your morning of remembrance with key events, public transport tips, accessibility info, and ideas for a cuppa afterward

At the entrance, we were handed a tablet called a HistoPad. But seniors, don’t be put off by the modern technology—it’s super easy to use, and the staff are incredibly helpful if you need any assistance. This HistoPad takes you on an immersive journey through Notre-Dame’s history, from its 12th-century origins to its meticulous restoration after the devastating 2019 fire.
The exhibition attracted a mix of ages, but it never felt crowded. I would highly recommend it to anyone—it’s a truly remarkable experience!
